An Ohio homeowner was battling with the issue of seal failure in her old vinyl windows. The presence of moisture and dust between the window panes was becoming evident, and drafts were making her home uncomfortable. Along with the draftiness and debris from the failing seals of the vinyl windows, Christine noticed an increase in noise levels in her home, indicating that her windows were no longer effectively cancelling noise as they once were.

She concluded that it was time for a window upgrade. While exploring her options for replacement windows, Christine chose to invest in Ultrex fiberglass windows, as the slim profiles of the frames would help enhance the views from her home. The durability of Ultrex fiberglass allows Infinity windows to be designed with slim frame profiles, offering more daylight and expansive views.

“I decided to go with Ultrex fiberglass windows because there’s more viewing opportunity. The frames are very thin, but they’re durable,” said Christine. “They’re high quality, and it’s very quiet.”

Looking back on her window replacement journey, Christine is pleased with her decision to switch from vinyl windows to Ultrex fiberglass windows from Infinity by Marvin.

“After having vinyl windows, it’s amazing how much thinner the fiberglass ones [windows] are,” said Christine. “I could watch all the seasons of Northeast Ohio change.”

Whether she’s sipping her morning coffee in the kitchen or relaxing by a warm fire in the living room, Christine loves watching the seasons change from the comfort of her home through her new windows. In addition to the enhanced views, Christine also appreciates the improved temperature control in her home.

“I get to enjoy the view, and I get to enjoy the temperature in the house being accurate ... comfortable,” said Christine.

Post-installation discoveries

Christine was pleasantly surprised by the temperature in her home after the installation of her new Infinity by Marvin Windows.

During the summer, she had set her air conditioner to the usual temperature. She found herself feeling unusually cold and couldn’t understand why. She soon realized that the new windows were more efficient at keeping the hot air out and the cool air in. This allowed her to adjust her thermostat while maintaining the same comfortable temperature she preferred.

Impressed by the warranty

Christine is thrilled that she won’t have to worry about replacing her windows again.

“The warranty on the windows is excellent,” said Christine. “It was very important to me because that shows if you can give a good warranty with your product, you know it’s a good product because you won’t need to use it.”

She is looking forward to continuing to enjoy her views for many more years.

“I think the thing I’m most excited about, the thing I love the most, is the view. Being able to have smaller frames really enhanced the view, but also the quality and security that that brings,” said Christine. “Knowing I only have to replace them once and they will last, that really makes me happy too.”
